It measures 2.5" tip to tip

Some pitting on the bottom, which actually accents the piece when looking through the face it appears to be anthraxolite inclusions on the backside of the pitting(if that makes any sense).  Tips are crisp. As far as clarity vs. size, this is my nicest herkimer hands down, and the price reflects that.
